Jenny's Little Ranch Hands
Childcare program
Lic #103905331
Just a quick note-I have received many calls asking the same questions regarding my rates and how I
run my childcare program.  I feel I need to address these two subjects to all parents that consider
inquiring about childcare.

My rates are reasonable.  I have four children of my own -Twin seventeen year olds, a thirteen year old
and a eight year old.  I have faced the daycare dilemma regarding cost and safety.  It is very stressing to
feel strained financially and emotionally when it comes to your child's care.  I do not feel that my rates
are 'cheap' -just affordable.  I am not looking to get rich and if you and I can work together and both
make a living-then we have won the game. I do joke though-if it makes you feel better to pay me
more-go right ahead!!!!!!

I hear the word 'structure' a lot from parents.  I hate that word!!!! These kids are structured to the hilt
these days and its stressing them out.  They need to run and play-get dirty and messy and use their
imaginations and creativity daily.  Colors, numbers and basic skills can be taught through play.  Society
has placed so much value on book smarts-but have left out the wonderful life skills that life requires.
We have kids on the ranch doing things that no one thought was possible and just because a child is
not a straight A student does not mean that they are dumb.  We need to begin valuing the kids that work
hard physically AND mentally.  The 10 year old C student that can rebuild an engine has just as much
value as the straight A 10 year old that can do algebra in his head.

Thank you for taking the time to read this!!!! Jenny
